After over 3 thousand views of this review, Thank You Fellow SiteJabbers!!!, and several weeks and several telephone calls to Massys, I found the tracking number and called another agent, and was told, 'I don't need a tracking number, they got the item back' months ago, and what do I want? So the same item in a smaller size.
They send it to me, finally, and a bill for it too, it's $5.00 more and a check to me in the amount of $39.99 representing the refund for the return, which I lost $5.00, (price increase) $8.00 (restocking fee). That's not counting the $8.00 it cost me to ship it there.
All in all, 8 weeks of aggravation, looking for a tracking number, being upset about this, being screamed at and lied to by various telephone agents about calling for a return without a tracking number, CAVEAT EMPTOR, LET THE BUYER BEWARE, with so many fabulous options out there, people that want to treat you well to take your money, at least go that way, Even though their merchandise is unique and I liked it enough to tolerate this madness. I was happy to get credit with Stoneberry to rebuild my credit. Everything went through okay and I ordered some items. When the first payment was due I was determined to be on time. Late one night Friday I went online to make the payment. There were two options-minimum payment and pay full balance.
It too k a little time for me to make sure I clicked the correct circle which was for minimum payment because the payment would not go through the first time so I put ithrough again. This time it went through but I was concerned and checked my account. Much to my shock the whole balance was taken from my account which was $436 not the minimum 28.99 that I asked to pay. I panicked and called Stoneberry customer service to try to get the payment reversed. I got nowhere.
I was given the run around so badly. I even called my bank who referred me back to Stoneberry. I tried everything I could to stop that payment from going through. I have recently emailed Stoneberry about the situation. They were supposed to get back to me in 24 hours.
I am still waiting as is way past that time. Now I have to file a dispute.
I am so disappointed. This money being taken from me messed up a lot of things. Plus I wanted to make payments to help my credit. Ordered a laptop from there and after so many months it stops working, won't charge or anything.
I emailed them for a month and got no reply from them, so I finally called them and they said practically I'm going to have to keep paying on it cause they won't except the computer back, then gave me a number for a warranty place to get it fixed, I will have to pay $25 shipping fee there and $25 for them to send it back to me, are you kidding me. I will never use stoneberry again. Who wants to keep paying for something that doesn't work!!! We ordered 2 items. One called a heavy duty extra large dog crate.
It is flimsy and won't stay up. It is NOT extra large.
The second one was a 2-piece bathroom set that came out amid several bits of loose carpet material. Thinking it was just poor packing procedures we put it down. It is very small compared to pictures, VERY thin and that carpeting material? It came from the product which is falling apart and leaves dye on wet feet. Since it's a red product it looks like someone's leavibg bloody footprints. Very disturbing event.Trying to return and cancel this, they want us to pay to ship them back. I have always made my payments on time.
I made a payment twice in the month, the second payment I made was made early for the following month. When I received the invoice in the mail, it read that I was behind a payment. I spoke with someone over the phone, and explain that I made the payment in March for the month of April. And that I have every confirmation numbers. But they wasn't willing to look into it, but gone on to say that I am behind. Which I know that I'm not.
But they don't care to check it out and see that I'm correct. They just want extra dollars. And gone on to deny me credit to one of their sister stores, whom I had credit with all along. And never missed a payment as well. When I spoke with someone in the customer service, they weren't friendly. Just cold and callus. One payment more and I'll end my account.
My girlfriend has stoneberry, and when we needed a air matteris, they were there, but they were very expensive, not to mention high shipping rates, and processing fees. One little small Tiny hole, and there it goes, we went through 5 of these things through 2018, and they were struggling to keep in a good shape. They were like disposable type air beds, and when they went down, and right into the dumpster.
Also the radio she bought for me, the radio was like it was about to fall apart, I mean the buttons and controls were flimsy, and easy to break off, and it was eating tapes like crazy,and hardly plays the CD's correctly. If we were to return this stuff, their return policy is trash too. They are not worth the trouble, hardly nothing to buy in their catalog, and their online store. They don't offer a good hard ship program to help pay them incrementally. Ordered my son a Nintendo switch for his birthday after receiving $750 credit line from these joker's.
After a week of my order pending, I called. First time at noon, then at 4:30, then at 7:30 pm. Each time they were experiencing, 'High call volumes' (seriously?) Finally after being on hold for over 25 minutes, the guy was shocked that I received a credit line of $750, and said my credit was being checked. First of all, they just offer credit to anyone? And, I didn't give anyone permission to run my credit. He told me to call back tomorrow (today) and they'll have an answer for me. Well, I just called, and conveniently, their customer service center is closed due to bad weather.
Well, I cancelled my order online, and will just go to Walmart, and buy my son his Nintendo switch. I placed an order on Nov 28, for my grandson a drone and here it is Dec 18 and nothing!
When I called the wait time was ridiculous a one hour wait time. But, I was desperate Christmas is closing in. I tell the rep that it is showing delivered but it was not. They sent another item that I had ordered. Then they sent an item that I did not order.
She tell me the item will not get here in time for Christmas, I will have to file a claim and on top of that she was very rude, she kept cutting me off, to make her point. I asked could they send another one, of course I would pay. But it still would not get here by Christmas. I ordered a lot of things from them for Christmas but when I pay them off, I will never shop Stoneberry again. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are to hard to contact, and when they mess up they treat you like you have done them wrong!!!
Buyers beware. My husband decided to order through Stoneberry to get a few extra Christmas gifts for our girls. It's tradition, that they get new blankets every year, and Stoneberry had what we were looking for at reasonable prices. Mind you, WE PAID IN FULL. The first time (yes we did 2 separate orders within a few days), we had no issues. He ordered 1 blanket. The 2nd time, he ordered 5 blankets and paid IN FULL!
After he placed the 2nd order, we received an email right away that said 4 of the balnkets ordered were on backorder and wouldn't be shipped until February. They were Christmas presents. I called immediately, and was on hold for 35 minutes. The woman who finally answered was incredibly rude. I asked her to please cancel this order as they were gifts for Christmas and if it's not possible to get them in time, then I'd find them somewhere else.
She told me it wasn't possible and then hung up on me. I called back and was placed on hold again for 45 minutes. The gentleman I spoke with was a little nicer. I explained the situation and he told me that the one that was still available almost shipped and therefore they couldn't refund that but he cancelled the rest.
However, I'm not stupid and I know a company that large didn't immediately run into the warehouse and ship out the package within an hour. But here's my biggest issue. The blanket my husband ordered was 13 dollars. Not alot of money, however they charged me shipping for the entire purchase, including the ones on backorder. So the 13 dollar balnket cost me close to 40 when all was said and done. And they won't refund the shipping.
And on top of that the first order was placed on the 8th and the 2nd was placed on the 10th of December. I got an email on the 14th that all the items were shipped! And when I tried to track it, it says the shipping label was created and their waiting on the package to be delivered to FedEx. Estimated delivery is the 28th.
So they still won't be here by Christmas! Don't deal with this company! Theyre nothing but scam artists. I ordered two items for Christmas presents. I received one that came before it was supposed to my second order was supposed to be here a couple weeks ago and still nothing. Says processing. I sent two emails, I've tried calling but I'm literally on hold every time.
I've waited for twenty minutes to over an hour and nothing. They sent me a survey I complained there too. You would think someone would contact you.
Now this special gift that finishes up the touches to a special gift for my spouse I have to wait till after Christmas as my budget is maxed and I put my money into this place. I will never and I mean never use it again. In fact I would send back the first shipment but i would probably never see my money. I will not ever recommend this place to anyone. Do not even look st their products. I placed an order at Stoneberry. They pulled the payment from my account.PAID IN FULL!
Then they cancelled order on their on after taking FULL PAYMENT! When asked about this they replied it was a mistake on their end. So I told them to go ahead and send order since it was PAID IN FULL FROM MY BANK. They then stated the order was no longer in stock. That they overlooked mine & sent the last item to another customer. This is so rediculous!!! So I asked to go ahead and refund the amount off PAID IN FULL.which they stated they could not.
So they have a full payment of my checking account & I have NOTHING! I have reported this to my banks fraud line. Be careful who you speak to from Stoneberry.not all of them are experienced for sale's. You may luck up and get one that does.
But I was told by customer service that there is a lot that make these mistake's. I will never order again. If they do not have people that knows how to conduct business then they should not hire them.reported as theft & fraud.my bank has all emails sent to me by them.and the full payment paid.
Let the fraud and theft be taken care of by them.i shop online a lot.never in my life have I ever had this problem. So be careful you may get the person I got only to keep your money and not send item. How dare they. I know what I am doing.but be careful for they do not!!!!
